Dr. Gábor Rácz PhD


• Has a Master’s degree in molecular biology and immunology from Eötvös University, Budapest.
• Obtained a PhD at Semmelweis University. Research interests: cell growth regulation, signal transduction, epithelial physiology. Results published in leading gastroenterology journals such as Gut.
• Postdoctoral research at NIH National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, Bethesda, MD, USA. Results published in peer-reviewed gene therapy and dental journals (Journal of Gene Medicine, Oral Diseases).
• Upon return to Hungary, pursued gene therapy and stem cell research, working on his own research grant.
• Transitioned into pharmaceutical industry in 2014, worked as a project manager and later as a Clinical Research Associate in late stage clinical research in the respiratory, diabetology and oncology therapeutic areas.
• Joined Vascular Reasearch Group in 2018 as a senior scientist in molecular and cell biology.
